The Japanese honeybee has a remarkable defence against predators. When threatened by an invader, the bees surround it and vibrate their wings rapidly, generating enough heat to overwhelm the threat while remaining within a temperature range they can survive.
There is a powerful lesson for the Body of Christ: there is strength in unity. When believers stand together in prayer and intercession, they can confront spiritual challenges that may be overwhelming for an individual believer alone.
Scripture: “And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.” — Ecclesiastes 4:12
Scripture: “If two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them...” — Matthew 18:19
1. Pray that the fire of first love will remain alive.
Pray that the passion and zeal of new converts will not fade, but will mature into deep-rooted devotion to Christ rather than becoming routine religious activity.
Scripture: “Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works...” — Revelation 2:4–5
2. Pray for faithful disciplers and mentors.
Ask the Lord to raise strong, faithful, and spiritually mature disciplers for every new believer entering the Kingdom—mentors who will invest not only biblical truth but also their lives, time, and example.
Scripture: “So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls...” — 1 Thessalonians 2:8
3. Pray for freedom from past spiritual bondage.
Pray that new believers will be established in Christ and experience freedom from every former bondage, harmful spiritual influence, deceptive voice, and pattern that seeks to draw them away from their new life in Christ.
Scripture: “Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel...” — Numbers 23:23
4. Give thanks for LWGLM training initiatives.
Thank God for every LWGLM training, workshop, and capacity-building initiative conducted this year. Pray that the lessons, relationships, and spiritual investments from each programme will continue to produce lasting fruit.
Scripture: “And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word of the Lord...” — Acts 15:36
5. Pray for the global reach of online training.
Ask the Lord to use the online training platforms of LWGLM, LLJ, and MNM to reach leaders and leadership communities around the world, transcending geographical boundaries, financial limitations, and other barriers to access.
Scripture: “Their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.” — Romans 10:18
The Lord says: “I will keep their first fire alive and lead them into deep, lasting devotion. I am surrounding them with faithful voices, and every past chain is broken. They will not go back, but grow strong in Me.”
We declare that every new believer will be firmly established in Christ. Their faith will grow deeper, their understanding will increase, and their lives will become fruitful witnesses of God's transforming grace.
They will not remain spiritual infants, but will grow in maturity, wisdom, discernment, and Christlike character. They will become strong disciples who make disciples and faithful witnesses who carry the Gospel to others.
They will grow strong in the Lord and fulfil their divine purpose.
